Teaching
Dr. Oleg Timofeyev has been teaching lute and guitar for more than three decades. He began offering online lessons many years prior to the COVID19 pandemic, and by the time they became the only possible teaching format, was already fluent in this way of teaching. Oleg got several people started from absolute zero, but he is equally comfortable picking up from any student’s current level.
Dr. Timofeyev is the main authority on the Russian seven-string guitar, and the online lessons give an opportunity to students located anywhere in the world. In addition to this specialized knowledge, Oleg is available for lessons on the regular Spanish guitar and Renaissance or Baroque lute.
